Unquiet Silk Lace Bib
Our take on a traditional Koti, this unisex bib is crafted from 100% handwoven silk and eco-printed using repurposed temple flowers such as marigolds and roses that have been collected, segregated, and repurposed for printing.
Drawing inspiration from topological landscapes and shifting terrains, the eco-print creates layered, earth-like tonal variations reminiscent of weathered surfaces, mineral deposits, and sedimented landforms. Moving across this textured ground, scattered Kantha hand embroidery traces gentle contour-like pathways that echo river routes, elevation markings, and cartographic lines.
Lace is thoughtfully inserted between panels, adding rhythm and depth to the composition. Together, the details form an organic interplay of surface, texture, and movement, resulting in a piece that is quietly expressive and distinctly handcrafted.
Open at the sides, it fastens with drawstrings. The cropped, free-size fit makes it easy to layer or wear on its own.
