Cartography Jacket

This bomber jacket features a relaxed silhouette with a mandarin collar and a front button closure. Two patch pockets add functionality, while adjustable button loops at the hem allow the fit to be subtly cinched or worn loose, offering versatility in styling and comfort.

Crafted from 100% handwoven cotton denim and eco-printed using repurposed temple flowers such as roses that have been collected, segregated, and repurposed for printing.

Drawing inspiration from topographical landscapes and shifting terrains, the eco-print creates layered, earth-like tonal variations reminiscent of weathered surfaces, mineral deposits, and sedimented landforms. Complementing the print, hand embroidery using back stitches, French knots, and bullion knots traces gentle contour-like pathways that echo river routes, elevation markings, and cartographic lines.

Together, the details form an organic interplay of surface, texture, and movement, resulting in a piece that is quietly expressive and distinctly handcrafted.
