Braided Jacket

Crafted from 100% cotton fibres and natural materials, this denim jacket is dyed in a rich blue tone using azo-free dyes. Defined by a wide lapel and framed with piping, the silhouette is designed with a double breasted closure that allows the piece to be styled with ease and flexibility.

Drawing inspiration from topographical landscapes and shifting terrains, hand embroidery moves in repetition across the lapel, collar, and shoulders like flowing contour paths. Criss-cross Kantha stitches in tonal shades of indigo, slate, and soft blue create textured elevations and mapped pathways across the garment. 

The embroidery follows a measured rhythm and repeated linearity, echoing the precision of topographical contour maps while evoking the quiet rigour with which landscapes are surveyed, recorded, and understood. The result is a subtle interplay of geometry and craft, where each stitched line contributes to a layered narrative of movement, elevation, and place.
