Our collection draws strength from the maxim “the personal is the political”, extending it into our practice where the personal, the professional, and the political collapse into one.
The personal lies in the lived experiences and craft legacies of artisans. Each stitch carries intergenerational knowledge of patience, intimacy, and resilience- histories made tangible rather than embellishments to be commodified.
The professional is our refusal to sever these realities from business. Sustainability, to us, is not just eco-friendly textiles but reimagining professionalism itself- where time, care, and dignity are central currencies.
By foregrounding the origins of our textiles and techniques, we reclaim authorship for communities whose craft sustains us.
The political is inherent. The Global South has long been cast as a factory of production rather than a center of creativity. We resist this binary.
Each garment is a political act: reclaiming authorship, asserting visibility, and demanding recognition of craft as knowledge, not anonymous labor.
